Safety Functions via WLAN
In addition to function-oriented data, Safety data from emergency stop and confirmation buttons, as well as key switch can be sent wirelessly with the HGW panel 1033-3 and the HGW 1033-32. Safety-relevant data is transmitted via the standard WLAN using the Black Channel principle. The Safety panels are TÜV-certifiied and with SIL 3, PL e, meet the highest requirements.

The wireless panel with Safety (SIL 3, PL e) brings a new dimension of operating freedom – multiple machines or machine components can be operated with one HMI. For unique machine identification, a 7-segment display is integrated.

The BWH 001 industrial base station with a radio link to the mobile panel has been developed to fit the HGW 1033. The quality of the radio transmission is guaranteed by two antennas for 2.4 or 5 GHz.

The rotary encoders on the front of the HGW 1033-32 enable comfortable and almost blind operation. This means that even during setup mode, the machines and systems can be kept in view.

The optionally available edge protection provides all-round protection for the mobile HMIs in harsh industrial environments. An added advantage is the resulting extended fall height.
